2023 : I Will Make Insecurity A Thing Of The Past If Elected President – Saraki

The 2023 presidential aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party PDP and the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Abubakar Saraki has promised to end insecurity in Nigeria particularly in the North West of elected president.

Saraki who was the Senate President of Nigeria during the 8th National Assembly between 2015 to 2019 said he would make insecurity a thing of the past so that farmers would be able to go to their farms and children will go to school without any fear of been attacked.

The former kwara state governor, however, promised free medical services to Nigerians if elected president.

” if I become the President of Nigeria through your support and effort, I will ensure a free medical services to all Nigerians because it is possible for me to achieve as I am a medical doctor by profession.”

Addressing Kaduna delegates at the State Secretariat of the PDP, Saraki appealed to them to vote for him in the primaries.

“I appeal to our Kaduna PDP delegates to vote for that person who has the energy to unite Nigeria and would put Nigeria first before himself or any other person, and I assure you I am that one person who would do all of these.

“2023 is not the time to vote any how person into power. We need a courageous man to lead Nigeria. I stood my ground as Senate President for things to work well.”

The presidential hopeful added that if elected he will also revive moribund Textiles industries in Kaduna State.

“We must unite the country because we are one. So vote me into power and I will revive all Textiles industries in Kaduna. We must provide employment to youths.”

“This is the time you need a Nigerian who is respected across the world.
I am your own. I will fix Nigeria. Find the person who can unite Nigeria. I am that person”. Saraki said.

The State party Chairman, Hassan Hyet earlier said age is on Saraki’s side and he is silent achiever.

Hyet recalled how Saraki challenged the executive arm of government over excessive external borrowing.
