Universal Writers and Authors is a Kaduna-based organization that aims at reawakening and enlivening the reading and writing culture amongst the Nigerian youths.
Parts of its programs is inter-secondary schools essay writing competition which is set to be a nation-wide program, although it is a state-level now. Local governments like Igabi and Kaduna south had taken their stages at the competition.
Kaduna North Local Government, which happens to be a local government with a large population, coupled with high-class schools, took their first stage of the competition today at Famaks British Schools, though their turn up was not impressive because it was only four schools that participated from the local government. This made it necessary for the organization to include some schools from Ikara LG instead.
At the competition today, Famaks British Schools emerged winner in Kaduna North Local Government, while Paki Premier Academy emerged winner in Ikara LG.
