NULGE, PASAN pledge support for Asma’u Halilu led NUJ Kaduna Council

The Chairman Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) Rayyanu Mustapha Turunku and his counterpart in Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) Abdulrasheed Abarshi have congratulated the Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna Council Asma’u Yawo Halilu for her successful election as Council Chairman.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the NUJ Kaduna Council Secretariat on Monday, the Chairman Nigeria Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria Alhaji Abdulraheed Abarshi commended the Council Members for doggedly supporting Asma’u Yawo Halilu to Victory.

According to him, NUJ has been a long-time partner and has been supportive in the struggle of Labour matters.

On his part, the NULGE Chairman Alhaji Rayyanu Mustapha Turunku also pledged support for the Council Chairman stressing that the Local Government Employee will not relent in supporting the Union under the leadership of Asma’u Yawo Halilu.

Responding, the Council Chairman Asma’u Yawo Halilu expressed gratitude to God Almighty thanking members of the Council and the visiting Unions for finding time to visit the council.

Halilu maintained that she and her team will ensure an open door policy and will always support the cause of Nigerian workers.
